MY STORY
Reggie’s story demonstrates persistence and determination. After graduating college the wide-receiver decided to quit football. Beginning as a walk-on at Lamar University, he holds school records in catches and receiving yards, while being one touchdown shy from securing the touchdown record. Despite these accomplishments, Reggie drew minimal interest from NFL teams. Instead he took a job at Universal Coin and Bullion as a Junior Broker. The company’s mandatory 5am mental training workshops became his saving grace. In order to tackle his insecurities head-on, Reggie gave football another chance and signed a deal with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL (Canadian Football League). Reggie showed promise in his first couple seasons, but the 2019 campaign was his breakout year. In 2019 season he earned Team MVP and CFL All-Star honors. Reggie also managed to secure a position with the 2020 Green Bay Packers. Currently, he is with the Stampeders heading into a two year contract extension in the CFL.
