OFF THE FIELD

Outside of football, fishing is something that Reggie Begelton has always been extremely passionate about. As a child he learned how to fish from his Grandfather Bruce. Fishing has long been Reggie’s favorite way to decompress and even helped guide him throughout his playing career. In fact, Reggie’s innate ability to deal with adversity has been critical to his career; an ability he credits to his fishing background. Even now, as one of the elite receivers in the Canadian Football League and with NFL experience under his belt, Reggie still has plans to pursue his passion for fishing. Whether it be becoming a professional fisherman one day or starting his own Nonprofit in Southeast Texas, there is no question that fishing will always be a major part of Reggie’s story. Reggie’s life story is a true testament to how the “Kingdom is Within You.” Adversity will continue to arise, but how will you manage to overcome the obstacles of life when they appear face to face.
